Oops, my bad. Btw what are the criteria for a building to be considered residential?

look at single-function and mixed use

single function means a building has to use 85% of its total floor area for this function. so 85% have to be residential. about 18 out of 88 floors are not residential, so probably less than 80% of the available space is used for residential function, which makes this a mixed use building.

Maybe a wide base ( well, at least as wide as possibly can with the site ) and some sort of setback with 2/3 of the tower is slender.

How large is the site? What footprint size is the most likely for this building. I guess what I'm trying to figure out if it will be as slim as 432 park or have more dominating look to it.

this building will not feature a spire, it was mentioned in a recent article. the developers think a huge spire is a gimmick and they want to have the highest building (at least to the roof) without cheating their way up. and i am happy for that, after all the people designing this designed many great towers without huge spires.

I edited that photo for the increased height, and gave it a different design, what do you think ?

Can someone please tell me exactly where in central park is this view from, or how to get there? I'd love to visit it.

Looks brilliant! gives a good sense on the height of this building when completed! although i doubt the design will be anything like that

Good work, but please remember to cite the original photograph and me as the original editor. I spent a decent amount of photoshop time on the previous version.

Cheers!

Last I heard Hurst had junked the spire and decided to settle for an antenna.

Did they change back ?

Look, I'll call him by his proper name if he restores the spire.
