the site can still be under preparations, a disapproval just means a new design may be necessary or a height decline or whatever, it is not a sure cancellation.

Looks to me like this permit is only to do some test drilling.
Other permits may deal with the costruction itself?

the text says also that conditions in preparation of PROPOSED new building. I think this will take a lot of time before we see something rise here. i think maybe next year

I doubt that it will take that long for construction. Extell should line up financing quite easily given its success at One 57 and Nordstrom's investment. Extell will not let 432 Park rise without competition.

That they're moving ahead.

By the way, the DOB also recently denied the permits for 250 E 57th and 45 E 60th. It's a routine occurrence.

I came when 432 park was breaking ground, so I haven't ever been able to witness this portion of the process. It's pretty interesting.
