That was an accident. I meant to like the original post with your massing model. Btw with this tower proposed at 1.2m sq feet, isnt that massing of 225 a bit, well, massive?

Its quite nice. Could you make a version with 225 at half the width of the current one?

Thanks for this. Its nice to be able to visualize the buildings. Good work.

Although, i'm sure the height is good for Nordstrom tower it does looks massive. Like someone suggested cut the tower vertically in half and it would look better.

Looks great thanks. I think that gives a pretty acurate massing prediction of what 225 will look like. Even at half the width of the original massing it still dominates.

OFC it will, and the fact it will be build IN THE MIDDLE of a city fabric makes this supertall my fav supertall project to date. :-) NYC really sets new standart regarding density, city planing, infrastructure and usage of space with towers like this.

Awesome sketch up. Nice to Verre, 107, 610 Lex, Baccarat, 1715 Bway, 220 CPS, and 432 Park in there. Midtown is getting even more beastly.

You know, it somewhat reminds me of the Domain in Abu Dhabi.

@germantower: Awesome model, and as you said - this is the tallest supertall ever being built in such a super dense area.

Can't wait!
1. Release of renderings
2. Confirmed height (1550 - 1650'). If this hits the 500 mark, SSC and SSP will go crazy.
3. Begin of construction (by the end of the year?)

I'm telling you, once this towers takes off there will be a massive spike in views, I predict > 5 million until completion.

Thanks Hunser. :-) I canīt wait to visit NYC again, and see this BUILT from various street level oppurtunities in the midst of the canyons of Manhattan. And especially from 12th avenue, up the 30th street. :-) Itīll be majestic!

Oh my god this thing will be huge. Complaints of height comparisons to the ESB will be obsolete in a few years.
