Any of these others, other than the first 3, over 1000ft?

Not only that but also the different architectural styles. (neo-Gothic, Art Deco, Modernist, Minimalist etc.) It's pretty intriguing if you ask me.
And soon, all those new supertalls on 57th Street* combined will be taller than the actual street long.

*57th is about 10,000 feet.

Crazy to think about. I'll be going by this site next month (as well as 432 Park and One57) and will be sure to take plenty of pictures for you guys.

107 West 57th thread: (see pic on the first post of this thread and you will see 107 standing near one57)
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1496564

This puppy will be standing tall right next to One57 and it is undergoing a slight redesigning (just hope the design stays the same, except being stretched to it's new height), because the developer purchased the (Steinway Building) right next door earlier this year and as a result they can build taller to 900+ft.

No, they wouldn't switch it to D/M/Y in the middle of the permit. That's probably for the demolition of the last building on the site.

I see, thanks for the info. I wonder when that lowrise with the black netting will go down. I hope it'll be soon

That's what Eric and I were discussing a few posts up. The 5/10/13 date was probably for starting with its demolition.

Well, then the demolition should be under way. Kinda weird that we don't see them picking it apart in those pics. I hope this isn't a delay

Nah, those were posted 4 weeks after that date. I think they're cleaning out the interior before they give the full go ahead signal. They probably just had time to put the black netting up that you'll typically see on buildings being demolished. It'll happen soon enough.

I walk by periodically. It's being demolished by hand. Several floors have clearly disappeared, and there's a huge hole on the side from which, I assume, they cart away the rubble.

My pleasure. Extell also appears to be in the process of demolishing the rear portion of its building on B'Way which is part of this site.

@ RobertWP: Hey, what's the progress, yet? Have you been somewhere about the site? And how long do you think it'll take to bring the final guy down?
Thanks for letting me (us) know!
