Just two pictures, but progress is evident, and 225 West 57th is now getting demolished floor by floor.

Since they've already mutilated it, I hope someone will tear down 3 Columbus Circle and build us another supertall...

Great photo!

For those who don't know NY, the building site for the future 220 CPS also is visible.

Went by the site today. There were only about five active workers there unfortunately.

Most of the workers are inside the last remaining structure demolishing from within, so you would not have seen them.

How's your trip coming along?

You need to visit the following:

West Village (at the least, walk up W 4th from 6th Ave to Hudson St)

TriBeCa (Walk down Hudson St from Canal)

Upper East Side (Walk up Madison from 60th to 79th)

Upper West Side (Walk up CPW, cross at 79th, and then walk back down B'Way)

Wall St area (Go for lunch at Stone St)

Battery Park City

Brooklyn Heights

Prospect Park (Start by the fountains/arch at Grand Army Plaza and walk along Prospect Park West).

Thanks, it's awesome so far! I'll post much more extensive thoughts when I go home. If you click the link to my page in my signature, I posted a detailed walking map of each loop we'll do.
