Something that could be possible is to utilise the cricket stadium and do a 20-20 cricket tournament next year with a high prize fund.

Similar to the Dubai golf championship and the popular horse racing.

Hi - I'm new here and I wonder if anyone can help me. Can someone tell me anything about the sports academies and how complete they are. I understand the ICC GCA is up-and-running but what about the others and the sports science/sports medicine unit? I'm looking to move to Dubai and employment at these facilities is highly probable given my qualifications and status, so I was just wondering what their current status is. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

I have already but they seem to be a bit cagey about handover dates, etc. I was wondering if I could get a perspective from someone independent about how the facilities were developing.

i SPOKE TO AAMIR afew weeks ago before ramadan and he said that they were going to revamp the website and put some new updates on there once the ramadan period was over, that is most likely why it is offline, be interesting to see new look and what they have to say about overall progress of site????

The ICC Global Cricket Academy opened there in the last month and the ICC are also based there so I think everything is still okay from their perspective. Both website are linked and have been down for several weeks but as "hempig" said, they are probably just being updated. The timing is somewhat strange, however, as the Pakistan vs. South Africa test series is starting this week and they were promoting it through DSC's website...

Hi guys, anyone been looking at the recent sales transactions?

Just been looking at the past transactions for The Diamond it seems that there were 47 sales in the October 2010 and 12 sales in November 2010.

Average AED sq ft in October 2010 is 1,281 and November 2010 is 1,180.

Overall, a lot of investors just sold there unit straight away and not see how everything plans out.

Looking at the figures for the average AED sq ft, no doubt it shows 2006 prices but with the exchange rate it does help matters.

So why was it down and the message read "under construction"...??? how odd that two sites were down at the same time...

Because both the websites are hosted on the same internet server. and it could very well be the server problem. their hosting company "maximumasp.com" is to blame if the server was down.
