9/10 - Very impressive - tremendous height, with a very nice, many-sided shape that really stands out, especially near the top. And the graceful, almost delicate gridwork of the facade helps the height. Plus, the spire flows nicely from the rest of the tower, rising up from a series of setbacks (Hint, to some of you other architects out there!)

Maybe a few setbacks at the base might have helped, but still this is pretty amazing and, IMO, a good combination of traditonal and modern styling.

And I love the almost ethereal air it has when it's lit up at night.

Impressive interiors, too - but where are the blinds or curtains?

And what's the height, please?

A more angular Petronas Tower. The characteristics of the ancient chinese pagoda expressed in a futuristic design.

Unlike most other towers, where only the roof and facade is emphasized and the body neglected
The clever arrangement of protruding geometry structure especially at the top really created the impresion of a smooth ascending peaked tower.

Rich in detail which resemble ancient hindu temple in some way too.
Not to mention the color of steel blend well with its futuristic theme. A truly master piece 9.5/10!

i gave it 9.

It was love at first sight!
i like how the successive layers of floors are indent into one another, and like many others said it fits like a glove in this city and culture.

9.5 Fantastic building. You just have to go to Shanghai and stand underneath this building - the height and its slightly tapering design really do leave an impression - which other top 10 skyscrapers such as the bank of china and the central plaza in hong kong do not

BoresvilleMcYawn, how can you give a poor 5 to this tower??? Are you trying to push KL's buildings? If so, you are really pathetic!!! Try to be honest!! 5 is really low!

I love it. It's my favourite building in the world, and it's definately the best looking building in Asia (although I really like 2IFC and Bank of China). The design is fantastic.
