Speak french only in French/Swiss/Canadian or a country where french is spoken. When you're not in one of those forums you speak the international language : ENGLISH. In case if you didn't see the Forum is english, you should guess why.

Is it only some French here on the international forums who feel challenged by the idea that it is English which is supposed to be used?

Yeah. I noticed that it's mostly latin americans and French who don't post in english in int. forums.

I was just answering the question he asked me in French. You would have preferred that I should answer him in Czech?

Le Havre looks somehow beautiful compared to other cities rebuilt after WW2. Most of buildings are modernist, altough urban plan and their proportions remains classic.

I doubt that.. just look at Blvd. Francois Ier. Left no sign of its former glory... sad. Very sad.

Well, in this case the alternatives are nice or at the very least passable. I'd mistake them for pre-war buildings!

^ Totally agree here. They are apt replacements, though they're of course lacking the splendid grandeur of their predecessors.

UnHavrais: STICK TO ENGLISH PLEASE! This is an international forum. Thank you.

But I write in French AND in English! Go tell that to those who write in Spanish and no one told them anything!! I will signal that the English still is not officially the international language, but French is considered universal!
And I do not see why I am asked to write in English when I write in English already, it's quite laughable!

Man seriously, if you find strange that some spanish speakers put comments in Spanish and English then be more clever, right only in English. You must understand that there is ONE LANGUAGE on the international forum : ENGLISH. On regional forum I don't care we are on the European forum and not everyone speaks french so speak english. Btw you're giving a very bad image of us....

Be clever, it may be very useful.
