A newish development in outskirts of the city called Lysaker Havn. I think it turned out very nice, Sorry about the HDR pictures though but that was all I found.

Yeah you may be right, it was just a unwanted consequence from posting those photos about the nightlife though. I don't really like hundreds of photos myself, but just a couple of times I had to as the series of pictures were many in number

Northon posted this video about winter in Oslo in the Norway thread in General Photography forum.

PS. There's been an extended mild period in Oslo with great weather/sun lately, some days have almost been like it's spring. As I'm not the hugest fan of winter, this is good in my book.

This video, however, proves that it's not like nothing happens here in winter, so if that's what you thought, have a look. We have winter fun available just a metro ride away from the city center.

Beautiful, if I would like to travel to Norway as bagpacker, how many days you would suggest me to spend in Oslo?

Personally I'd recommend at least 4-5 days. It is true that Oslo is not where to go to experience Norway's most spectacular nature, but there's many other things to see and do, and Oslo is the countries' urban center. It depends a bit what goal you have for your Norway visit, though.

Thank you, Oslo is beautiful, as bagpacker is having limited budget... Do you know any good budget hotel in Oslo?

No problem, Anker hotel and Comfort Hotel Xpress are well-known budget alternatives in the city core. I'd recommend Xpress the most. Otherwise, there are many hotels here and alternatives can probably be found.
