Germany 2010: Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Ulm and Augsburg

Here are some pictures from my recent visit to Germany.

Frankfurt am Main

This city is a must for every skyscraper lover who does not want/ cannot afford to travel outside Europe. Although I stayed a couple of days in Frankfurt 5 years ago, this time the city appeared totally new to me. Either there is something wrong with my memory, or the city has changed a lot since then.

Stuttgart

This is my favorite German city. In which other city can you enjoy this view while you travel by public transport?

Heidelberg

For many Germans this is the most beautiful town in Germany. Well, for me it is one of the most beautiful towns of its size in Europe!

Karlsruhe

Mannheim

Many Germans consider it an ugly industrial city. I wish all industrial cities looked like this.

Ulm

Sorry, the cathedral was too big to fit in my camera’s frame.

Augsburg

A picturesque town in Bavaria.

GREAT PHOTOS! I especially like the ones from Ulm. My mother's mother's family came from there. They left though in 1759.

Maybe a little bit too many pics for one thread?
It always kills my connection at least and not many things do that.

In that case, you have to upgrade your connection.

Very nice pictures! Thanks...you've really seen many cities for one trip!?
Well, Heidelberg is definitely the most beautiful city of those you've shown...but definitely not the most interesting and most versatile!

A bit like my trip (I visited Frankfurt and Heidelberg in April this year). I was close to Mannheim and considered a visit but it was enough with both Heidelberg and Darmstadt at the same day for me, but it looks good.
