Did that building have vines/flowers growing down the side of it at one time? I notice the stain marks on it. That is a good example of a beautiful building that is in terrible need of some landscape/graphical attention.

It's just the patina. And yeah, it needs a thorough (but sensitive) renovation.

Actually, it looks like they have already sandblasted the patina. Shame, I liked how it looked.
