Hi Everyone,

I live in a small city of 250,000 people, called Geelong, in the state of Victoria, Australia, and this is the State Government Office that was built in 1970's ( remember going there to watch the construction on the weekends)

I always loved it, some don't, but to me it is a beautifully proportioned Brutalist building.

It still looks good today!

There are some good brutalist buildings to be sure but none are on this page, These are fugly! This page represents why people rejected brutalism. That Madrid example is horrible!

Hi everyone,

I know that these 2 building may have been listed in this thread before, but to be honest, I don't feel like spending the time looking through 161 pages of posts at the moment!, so sorry if I have tread on someone's toes,

Canberra, the Capitol of Australia has 2 stunning Brutalist building sitting beside each other on the lakefront, really beautiful tree lined setting! here you go!
