This one reminds me a very similar round-building of the 1950's in some city in Poland. They're both beautiful.

The State Archive Building from Azerbaijan and Polyclinic of the Writers' Union of the Ukraine surprises me, they look very western.

That thing is amazing! What some of these things just need are window replacements and fixture upgrades, because that 1950s-1970s stuff ages quickly.

Not for Pei's building in particular, that one has aged very well. Even the skylights have no streaks from the rain. But for others, definitely. I've always thought windows are the eyes of the building, and if they look bad, the whole building looks bad.

A lot of mainstream outlets are now expressing praise for this style, I think there was even a Daily Mail article on brutalism recently. You wouldn't have these kinds of articles 10-15 years ago. Very good sign.
