I have a question: can we consider this building (The Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco, USA) as brutalist architecture? Anyway, it's beautiful. It's gorgeous!

Transamerica Pyramid looks absolutely stunning. Never seen those window details that close before.

I think in general brutalist architecture can be a great fit for churces.
Church where I have had couple of school Christmas parties before being sent to school holiday back in the day.

It has all the characteristics, apart from being rectangular. I would count it as brutalist, personally.

Two brut beauties (breauties?) rescued from demolition in Winnipeg, Canada. Hopefully more demolition scares arise so that they are stopped and more awareness is built for this style, and its era, in the architectural history spectrum.

The sandy concrete with the greenery around it works so well!

The Apollo Pavilion, Peterlee, UK (1969) Restored after a demolition threat. It was once covered in grafitti and a target for anti-social behaviour, but then it was restored as it was when it was unveiled four and a half decades ago. Then people saw the real beauty of the design.

The cladding is okay, but they ruined it with that metal mesh thing. Why not just keep the angled glass?
