^ that complex reminds me a lot of the complex where the contemporary art museum from Thessaloniki is situated. Same post-industrial vibe.

A simple shaped brutalist building cannot look that good without his environment, while a complex and intricate brutalist building only look good if be putted apart of his surrounding (the surrounding is doing better too). Mairie D'Ivry is fortunately surrounded by simpler brutalist buildings.

Belgian architect Juliaan Lampens

Though not directly associated with brutalism, the architecture of Juliaan Lampens stands as a significant variant of this style: materially in his use of raw concrete, and formally in his deployment of the bunker typology.

There are several well-known buildings in the Philippines which are built in the Brutalist style. These were mostly built during Ferdinand Marcos' time back in the 1970s and 1980s, and most of them were designed by renowned Filipino architect Leandro V. Locsin, who specialized in Brutalist architecture, often with Filipino twists.
