Some cool vintage-style posters of famous London brutalist buildings. They really make clear the intent of the designs.

Sudene Building, Recife, Brazil (1974)
Nothing a powerwash and window restoration couldn't handle.

Railway station in Cosenza, Italy (ca. 1985).
A nice structure with a very poor desing of the public spaces.

A renovation has been planned, the station will be extended with new buildings, that seem to be well together. I like this project

Wow! Big influence by Affonso Reidy's Pedregulho housing in Rio de Janeiro, from 1947:

Nice, but sadly the Rio de Janiero building is in horrible shape today, with rotted mismatched windows.

Its from 1947... almost 70 years old. It is historic, and deserves a restoration. Letting buildings fall to this condition should be illegal.
Even North Korea keeps its buildings in better shape.

I completely agree! But the good news is that it is CURRENTLY under restoration! I have to stress that word, otherwise people may not believe, given how slow these processes take in Brazil.

Take a look on one of Niemeyer best works:

Modern ruin, although they've promissed money for its restoration... Great, GREAT design:

Great news, then!

There's a lot of work to be done in Brazil, as it's filled with many great early modern buildings that beg for renovations. It's better for the eyes, better for the building, and better for safety.

And both of them were probably inspired by Le Corbusiers' Plan Obus

Corb is always the source! He did design meandering towers-highways in 1929:
