I could not believe Wuxi will build Metro......i know it is true........

but i am terribly scared by how many chinese cities wanna to have metro, over 50?

Why not? There are over 100 cities in China with a population over 1 million, so it seems logical that many of those cities need some sort of rail-based metro transport system.

No, "only" 43 if i'm not mistaken. The latest ones in announce a system are Huizhou, Hohhot and Weifang.
But z0rg it's a bit outdated. He still thinks that Wuxi it's only to build 5 lines and 147 km .

Two lines are currently under construction

Line 1 runs north to south - opens October 2014
29.4 km
24 stations

Line 2 runs east to west - opens after line 2 has opened in 2014
25.4 km
20 stations
