When you google the metro area population of both Tbilisi and Baku the difference does not seem that large. I just looked at satellite images of the two areas and their urban size looks to be similar. Even if Baku has 1 million more people in its metro then Tbilisi it isn't like it is soooo much bigger. My point is it isn't like comparing Istanbul and Budapest for example

Tbilisi without a doubt, it's mysterious and ethereal, and the architecture is brilliant. Also I like the Georgian language and wine

The irony is killing me. Look at the poll results - as long as the results stay the same, the color bars look like the Armenian flag.
I just want to add that all three capitals are beautiful. Nevertheless, I voted for Yerevan because I was born there. The summers in Yerevan are amazing. The nightlife never ends. |

I like the German Reichstag rip-off in Tiblisi, but the seaside of Baku looks allover more appealing

First time seeing pics of Baku as city (not only individual buildings) and I'm surprised about its really pleasant apperance. Good location, nice mix of historic and new, though many of the new projects are a bit too "dubai-kitchy" for my taste. Anyway, Flame towers will be a great city landmark.

I'll say Baku, I love the Buck Rogers futurism of some of the building shown here.
