Many Khmer enjoy their peaceful and prosperous living under the ruling of Hun Sen.

I absolutely agree he is a good leader, he is smart and knows how to handle all the crisis.

Oh .. sorry to hear that.

But Hun Sen has said many times that he is the only person who can lead Cambodia and he will lead Cambodia until he dies or he is 90 years old.

A. Gaffar Peang-Meth, Ph.D., in his article: Giving Up Freedom to Settle for Peace, clearly pointed out that:
“Ironically, no Cambodian is in a better position than Sen himself to redress the imbalance of values and principles, and stability and order''

My 1th, 2nd, 3rd I never voted for CPP (Hun Sen).

But next I will vote for him,

and nowaday he is very famous and very good for Cambodians who living in Cambodia.

For sure he will be prime minister again for the next election.
No ones easily to change my mind.
Anyways, PM Hun Sen nowaday he really change a lot..

Without him Cambodia will be take a long time again to be restart everything, So better late him lead our country to be strong enough in democracy then in one day without him Cambodia just take a short time to continue in one way standard.

Please remember that Cambodia is a very young democracy country..! please give some time...

Although school is free across Cambodia, poor children in rural areas are often unable to attend because they cannot afford the necessary school supplies and uniforms.

For Ponheary Ly, the daughter of a schoolteacher who was killed by the brutal Khmer Rouge, helping children attend school is a mission. Ly started by helping one girl, giving her the money she needed for supplies and uniforms. Now, Ly has established her own foundation, helping thousands of children in rural Cambodia go to school. It takes only $20 a year to ensure a child gets an education.

Hun Sen and his policy reminds me the young princess Sihanouk then in the 60s and his policy. In fact, if you look closely they are copycats. The only difference is the world that is not the same anymore. They have good and bad moments, but they are after all Cambodians. They love Cambodia and her people. They do whatever they think it is good for Cambodia even if it may not please others and may not be good at all for the nation. But, they have to make decisions based on the situation and what they think best at the time. Good or bad, only history will tell. It is normal, in politics, thing that is good for some, it is not good for others. They are at the right time and right place to become what they are - rememberable leaders of cambodia. They make themselves a father of the nation, and you know in Asia what father means in a family. They take care of children, but they have to obey them.

Anyway, it takes more than a father of the nation to move a nation. It takes all cylinders to move a ship. I would not give all the credits to just the captain. Remember in the history of human kind, famous leaders become famous on the sweat of their people.
