Am I a paki? Of course it was!

Your pizza sounds good too - might use tonight's leftovers for pizza toppings tomorrow...

well as one door closes another opens as the saying goes, i was made redundant from my present job on friday.

I had applied to do a Post Graduate Course @ the Glasgow Scool of Art Digital Design Studio (GSA DDS) at the begining of this year, i just got notification of an unconditional offer ... well the feeling is overwhelming to say the least... especialy at my age i'll be the oldest student there me thinks.

Oi! Shad-ap! Nae Old Firm chatter here, arite? Them's the rules, if you don't like them, don't post in this thread.

Thanks for the backing, Legs - glad to see sense still prevails here

Mo, really sorry to hear about your job, but tres congratulations on being accepted into the PG course - brilliant stuff!

Had to look that one up ther Chief (shiznit) did you think that word off the top of your head or was it from your oxford dictionary.

1. shiznit
shortened term for "that is the shit, isn't it ?"
"that taco's the shiznit!"

2. shiznit
adj. 1) the best; 2) the greatest, in a certain category or universally; 3) gaddam' phenomenal, bi-atch!
Master says, "I'm the shiznit! Hell'z yeah!"

3. shiznit
More "urbanized" form of the shit. Basically means really, really good. Other versions include:hella cool, tight, the best.
Damn Tony! Your new ride is the shiznit! Lemme borrow it to drive by Mya's

Oooh cool. I pretty much never have to leave the flat now. Shame though that the way they make it means it doesn't cover pedestrianised streets.

Aye Mo, thanks for asking. Found out on Tuesday that I'm safe. Pretty scary though - couple of guys in my group who joined at the same time as me have been made redundant. Really brings it home.

Shiznit is a word I probably heard used somewhere and decided to adopt. The wifey chuckles every time she hears me use it, but hates it when I use the actual "s" word. Go figure...

Was talking to someone earlier this evening about the privacy laws and how long it would take for public to complain.

Privacy row as Google brings Street View service to UK

March 20 2009
Google is facing fresh privacy complaints after launching a new service in the UK that allows web and mobile phone users to see 3D views of 25 cities including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
Using the search engine's maps, Google Street View uses photographic images of public roads and major landmarks in British cities to create a 360-degree map that web users can click on to explore.
The company has spent almost a year collecting images, with a fleet of cars with roof-mounted 360-degree cameras crawling along nearly 23,000 miles of British roads.
