Actually thats the ONEX [outer northern expressway] which is a different project and a different highway being built by SAWOE Construction Company.

Mind you that its julius berger that is constructing the Airport expressway.

Maybe we should create a separate thread for this and the other abuja highways that are under construction.

Okay, a list is needed of all of the expressways in the Abuja area. Two of them are named after Murtala Mohammed and Nnamdi Azikiwe.

What exactly is being constructed in the pictures here? I can't tell what the first 2 pics are. The last 3rd one looks like some kind of bridge.

There are only 3 controlled access highways in the Abuja area: Murtala Mohammed Expressway, Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway, and Airport Expressway (U/C).

The construction along this expressway is amazing. It is so many houses being built. I was amazed by the houses I saw.

Abuja Airport Expressway is being expanded to ten lanes plus service roads including two cloverleaf junctions. Julius Berger will complete this massive project in record time thanks to a team of highly qualified employees and a comprehensive fleet of machinery and equipment.
