Beware that this is Terminal 2, the oldest and still under renovation and is used by Easyjet.
Now all intercontinental flights arrive at Terminal 1.

And that is fortunate that Alitalia will be transferred to FCO..... well, that airport is one of the worst airports in Europe.....

I think there was a flight to Rome and to Milan at the same time, I mean from Toronto. I am often in Italy and I like the country. (Sono la Laziale)... What the real issue here is that the flights depart from Toronto Pearson T1. It's a world class terminal, that's why you get a bad impression as soon as you arrive in Milan.

In fact, the T2 is ugly (it is used by Easyjet, a low cost company airline), the T1 is another thing indeed much larger terminal, where flights arrive from the Intercontinental.

Now I post here some photos of the new Terminal 1C of MXP (enlargement of the T1), this part of Terminal 1 was designed to accommodate 2 A380s simultaneously, the floors will in marble and it will host an exclusive lounge for Emirates (which she comes to operate 3xD for DXB, 2 times daily with 77w and 1 with A380), Terminal 1B will be renovated in the style of this and it will be able to accommodate 2 A380s simultaneously:

P.S Air Canada, as soon as he received the B787 (if not the first, will be the second) they will open YYZ-MXP, most likely, Air Canada will be hosted in this new part of Terminal and Cathay Pacific aims to have the second daily for HKG, currently Cathay Pacific has one daily and the flight is going very well, beyond their expectations.

Unfortunately no.

They will use another type of A330-200 to increase capacity.
There was talk of 77w but first, they want open route for BOM, moreover, the Milan-India market is still growing, only Alitalia wasn't able to make the most of reopening MXP route to India.

Alitalia in 2012 doesn't launch service for Seoul but if they would open the route for ICN, they open them from FCO.
