Hard to take this seriously with that design. Looks like something you'd expect to be built in Pyongyang.

It looks like an Almost Brutalist Version of the Ryugyong.

Here are some highrises:

Note that I only made a quick search on the web, they might have better (taller) ones.

I don't know. I still don't think that Tunis has the fitting environment for such a supertall skyscraper..

I did not comment on whether this project fits or not, I merely commented on your assertion that Tunis does not have highrises.

and why is that ???

thanks for the pics droneriot btw and we do have other highrises in the city here are other pics of the ACTUAL CDB of Tunis:

In fact Tunis as a capital of a relatively small emregent country should have have a supertall and will have pretty soon supertall all construction are going uprise due to the lack of available space.

On the other hand major project are underway in tunis Tunis Sport City ( affiliates of Dubai Sport City ) The Tunis financial harbor (affiliate of the GFH in Bahrain)

There is a thread and a whole forum dedicated to Tunisia it will probably rectify your biaised vision of Tunisia

If built, won't this be the first 1000+ ft building in Africa?

That's interesting. Maybe this will spark a growth of skyscrapers in this city
