Singapore Virtual City Gallery - URA 3D models on Google Earth
On a recent visit to Google Earth, I've been surprised by a very quick development of 3D models of Singapore buildings. And I discovered that all the old 3D models had been replaced by new much more accurate ones designed by... the URA!
Building models are quite cool, and they cover both modern buildings and heritage places, and even HDB! Moreover you can get extra information when you click on some of those models. And when you put your cursor on top of the structure, you can see its height. Even future developments such as Marina Bay Suites, Marina Bay Financial Center tower 3, Tokio Marine or 50 Collyer Quay are displayed, so you can get a good idea of the future skyline from different vantage points. This "virtual City Gallery" is still not complete yet, notably with MBS missing, and there are some mistakes, such as the Swissotel that has been drawn far too high. But I already see the amazing potential of it, and the pleasure to fly in 3D in the city in the near future!  Way to go URA!

Do you knwo where i can download them.. The files in google 3d warehouse sketchup all seems to be secured.

 All the models have been created, and are protected, by URA. I also tried to download them, but didn't manage to do so. I'm sorry I can't help you on this one.

hi don diego 2000, i realised that URA had forgotten to delete that little man which appears when you start google sketchup. Here are some photos:
