No clear info about height, architect, etc. We'll have to wait.
Anyway this is the very first concrete project released at this CBD.

The two types of glass on the facade makes this a very unique and stylish building.

I really hope this area has some pedestrian friendly areas where people can eat and shop and not just hide in malls that I assume will be built within the area. Two lots of new area being built in this region. if both area have a pudong feel, I will get very worried

Back to this tower, I'm happy that although they are building this CBD from scratch, that they take care in choosing nice towers. This tower is better than some of the towers found in Pudong. If all of the towers was of this high quality, then this area will look very good when completed.

I have the same feeling. Not only with this plan but with most big business areas that are planned in Asia. I know it's a business area but it should also be nice to walk.

Yep i know what you mean, South Korea, Vietnam and many other countries are following this planned method. Its looks good, modern and all, but if they leave out all the street shopping and small food shops, then it will be a complete disaster. The last thing China needs in their planned CBDs are franchises from other nations, big malls only selling expensive products and the same few brands being plastered at the front of each shopping mall. I really don't get the obsession with branded clothing, does it really make someone feel better paying such a high premium for a product just for the name?

By the looks of it, the lanes probably won't be too wide, but if every building was stand alone, this still makes pedestrian walking quite a problem

The 2nd picture is not the main tower. One hole in the 1st picture is the main tower.
