“A Arena Pernambuco não será mais revestida com uma manta azul e verde. Agora será colocado um revestimento que permitirá que a arena possa receber iluminação diferenciada em dias de jogos”, explica o Secretário Extraordinário da Copa de 2014 em Pernambuco, Ricardo Leitão. Os primeiros contêineres com parte das estruturas em ETFE que revestirão a fachada da arena chegaram ao canteiro de obras no início de novembro.

Importado da Alemanha, o material é o mesmo utilizado na Allianz Arena, palco da final da Copa do Mundo da Alemanha em 2006, e no Cubo D´Água, complexo aquático das Olimpíadas de Pequim em 2008. Através da tecnologia utilizada, será possível personalizar a fachada da arena de acordo com os tons e panoramas visuais dos clubes mandantes ou nas cores da turnê de algum artista.

The first containers with part of the structures in ETFE that be the facade of the arena came to the construction site in early November.

Imported from Germany, the material is the same used in the Allianz Arena, venue for the final World Cup of Germany in 2006, and in the cube D ´ water, aquatic complex of the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Great!
Beira-Rio also is going to have the possibilitie of changing its facade's color.
It also will be supplied by Hightex, same company that has built the Allianz Arena's roof.
The difference is that Beira-Rio is going to use PFTE instead of ETFE (both DuPont products).
