The Mexican National Expressway system has a total of 11,000 kms aproximately....and still growing.

The inter-urban highways in Mexico look very relaxt to drive on, because there's no one on them.

That's true .....

One of the reasons is that most of them are toll expressways, and very expensive.

Another reason is that distance between some cities is among 200 - 300 kms (average)....so some of the pictures where taken in the middle of nowhere

Wow, very nice what the Chinese do with the inner space of their highway junctions! They really look like city parks or gardens! I'd like to see that sort of thing here too, it's a better use of this rest space than just leaving it blank.
