I very much doubt we will get him. We're not in the market for anymore midfielders. Got loads already.

Apparently we're very close to signing French defender Squillaci. Twitter is going mad with rumours about it.

Damn Arsenal couldn't beat a 10 man Liverpool squad. What a shame, Chelsea going to win the league again.

I haven't seen much of Squillaci since that Monaco's crazy CL run. Look what I found.

Apparently the talks have progressed to high stages with Sevilla confirming the defender's uncertainty with the club. I would have preferred Mertesacker or Tasci but Squilacci works as well. And what's with Fulham wanting Carlos Vela along with 2 million for Schwarzer? No way.

I feel that our training staff are not the best as ridiculous as that may sound. This happened in training.

Fulham reject our 2nd bid for Schwarzer.
Go for Given Wenger!

Why leave it so fucking late every time so the selling club holds all the cards?

I don't think they believe in stretching or warm ups. Apparently they use bricks in training instead of footballs.

Our reserves beat Man United's 2-1 in the Platinum Tournament. It should have been more. Arsenal outclassed, out possessed and out muscled United in every way. It's a shame that isn't the case for our first team but the future is definitely bright.

Jay Simpson signed with Hull unfortunately and I rated him very high. I thought he might be future England #9. I don't know why Wenger let him go. He was a quick power striker with a good physique and we could have used him in a few years time . Until then he should have just been loaned out, not sold!

West Ham is putting Upson for sale at around 6 million pounds before he leaves for free next year. I'd say he's a better deal than Squilacci at 8 million.

Waste of money. Made of glass... And the German strikeforce at the WC demonstrated he actually isn't very good at defending either.

I don't know how much international experience he had prior but I'd say he's a good club player. I'd play him for league matches but not tournaments.

Chamakh got a goal after a miss that even Bendtner would have been proud of. Let's hope Theo can keep this up. Arshavin and Rosicky did well too.

I admire Simpson. He wears his heart on his sleeve and loves Arsenal but let's face it. There's more talented young strikers in our ranks such as Freeman, Afobe, Wellington and Jay Emmanuel Thomas etc who's chances would be hindered if Simpson was promoted to the first team. Simpson will make a decent Premiership footballer one day but he's not top 4 quality.

Chamakh's miss wasn't as bad as it looked. The ball in was bouncy so he just over hit it slightly. Apparently if Squilacci deal doesn't go through Wenger is looking at Ciani of Bordeaux. I'd take ciani any day!!!
The guy is Jacked up and tall and quick.
