A not-that big town in Poland - Piła, used to be Schneidemuehl.
In a townpark, about 1905:

My friend, these are gazebos, not kiosks. Kiosks are where you buy tram tickets and newspapers on street corners where I come from.

Altanka - City of Sumy (Ukraine) - 1900-1905 - architect Matvei Shchavelyov

Page | FotoSergio | BLOX.ua

The symbols and patterns of the gazebo's design have been a source for a number of metaphysical theories. One such theory (by Pyotr Uspensky) suggest that the Altanka is a model of the Universe.

Over the years it had a number of colour schemes, which you can see here.

It was also one of the few heritage buildings that survived German atrocities when the Germans occupied the city.

I love these Gazebos. It was such a lovely pic. Lot's of styles and designs to choose from. Fantasizing about owning a backyard gazebo is the first step toward getting your own gazebo. Because gazebos are generally open air structures, they are great places for enjoying the breeze and admiring the view of the garden or the park. Gazebos provide shade against the harsh sun on hot days and shelter on rainy days. They serve as gathering places where people can get together to talk or have tea. In parks, gazebos are used as bandstands or mini stages for holding programs and events just like most of these pictures they all shared.

Gazebos provide shade against the harsh sun on hot days and shelter on rainy days. They serve as gathering places where people can get together to talk or have tea. In parks, gazebos are used as bandstands or mini stages for holding programs and events. Most of these Gazebos are located in a perfect place. Traditionally, gazebos were luxuries found only in the houses and estates of rich families. Today, they can be found in the backyards of average people.
