This looks so epic! China and NYC are the building the best (my favourite at least) skyscrapers in the world at the moment...

I agree...London needs some 500m+ towers!
Although if you look at the renders for this one, you will notice that they completely stole canary wharf tube station

That's the core district of Beijing CBD, all those buildings are approved, including one 500+,one 400+ and several 200+

Graft, not "city councils", is the main unit of municipal organization and leadership in Chinese cities.

The building under construction next to Shanghai Tower is Oriental Financial Center. The "plot" next to Jinmao is reserved green belt and no skyscraper will be built there.

No, quite a few metro stations shape like this all around the world among them are some Chinese ones already been built for years.
