Yeah, but I still could do it without the green space between the cluster and the road (Chang'an Avenue?).

normally i would agree, but for beijing i must say, it needs those spaces. when i was there it felt like the air was the worst in all of the few cities i visited in china. Along the historical center and the highrise zones i hardly saw any trees other than lonely sick looking trees along the streets. Although i liked the city i lacked these areas a bit i think.

I agree. It needs to be more integrated with the street and less 'organised' and 'neat' with the green spaces.

Not quite, that's the eastern stretch of the 3rd Ring Road, running north to south. It crosses over Chang'an Avenue near the southern edge of the CBD - down towards the right of that picture.

The Gateway Arch was essentially an exercize in geometry. I see nothing of that here.

If this is built, it will beat the CTFG and the Shanghai Tower in the ground

Or maybe the site is so big you can't see the workers.

An industrial-era concept of urban organization, at odds with contemporary problems (exceptionally paramount in Beijing, e.g. pollution from cars) and urban trends.

This is one of the biggest construction sites for a tower I've seen....actually towers, since several seem to be going up here.
