The final east side concrete seating slab was hoisted yesterday!

TCU Magazine has posted 43 photos and 3 videos of the construction progress:

Wow. I know that won't be the case, but the way construction on the east side is going, I'd think it would be finished and usable for the start of the season

.... it will be finished and usable for the start of the season.

3 months, and all they have to do is finish the plumbing and put in seats and lights on top.

and have needed to for years. A horse can eat the plastic stuff too. Just might not feel good afterwards.

The Carter did have turf back in the day.

Usually, I wouldn't mind, but ya know what.... I think it's better to have natural grass instead of the artificial. With the 1930's architecture, I think it's best to just have grass.

Well, a horse could eat plastic.

.... more than likely wouldn't digest well, if it even is digested, but he could still try.

Again, I do feel that some gridirons are better off with turf, but The Carter isn't one of them. Just wouldn't feel right.

The field always looks like that for most of the offseason.

I do like the walkways from the east/west grandstands to the north. Makes it look even more pro level-like.
