yeah, but Paris still is a city. Venice or Brugge really are working hard to become a Museum City.

Quote:
At night Venice sometimes resembles an empty museum, a ghost town.
After [11pm], when the day trippers have all left and the restaurants and bars are closed, the waterways and calles – narrow streets that intersect the islands upon which Venice is built – are almost deserted.
Tomorrow another 60,000 people will arrive – and depart.

St. Augustine, FL is basically one giant museum. It certainly has several museums in it dedicated to art, history, and science, but most buildings are also miniature museums. Almost everything is open to the public, though some places charge an entrance fee.

I think Williambsurg, VA is similar, and even Washington, D.C. to an extent is like one giant museum (though many buildings don't allow public access).

Otherwise the place that you posted is absolutely beautiful, though due to my descent, appearance, and where I am from I would be afraid to visit (not due to the people...love Iranians, but the government and the possibility of detainment).
