I like the idea of a tower that tall. However I find it a bit thin for it's height and design. If they'd build two of them, then that would be nice.

I hope the facade is nice, that will make or break the building.

It's so friggin' horrible.

Jeez, NYC, what's wrong with you?

Anyway, I added the new visualizations to page 1 here.

Ughh I know. I never imagined it could look this bad. This building is revolting, abominable, deplorable, and atrocious. So many words to describe how much of a disgrace this building is. New Yorkers, you need to do everything you can to stop this from getting built.

Anyone that likes this obviously is letting the 426 meter figure go to their head, andd isn't realizing how much of an abomination this build is...

I was hoping for more prominent glass with a silver grid. This is pretty bad. Other towers, and especially Verre, need to hurry up to lessen this thing's impact.

I feel like you guys clearly don't get this building It's all about contrasts here. Do you really think it should have silver grid with reflective glass? It's not bekman, but completely different building. I mean you may don't like the design but if there would be no contrast betwen claddign elements this wouldn't look right imo.

As for the design itself I just hoped it would be topped out as on the ssp diagram, but maybe the renderings are not so finall as we think they are.

Maybe, the actual building will change my mind, but now I'm not convinced.

This thing will have a massive and disastrous impact, this could literally destroy the midtown skyline, people dont realize how thin this is.

Just wondering, why is this tower considered U/C? Shouldn't it be classified as "prep" at best, and thus in the proposal section?

I think it's amazing how much this building is gaining so much attention wether its positive or negative. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

This was in prep for a long time, but if you look at the live cam [432park.com], rebar and other stuff that is part of the building's perimeter footprint has gone up. Which means it's technically under construction.

Because there is rebar, which is part of the building, therefore it is under construction.
