This building appears to be 'the thinnest' supertall, in that the ratio of [height in meters] to [footprint in m2] is the largest figure.

It's basically a radio tower or a flagpole.

Its the supports for the site design borders that they have removed. They'll start with those so the buildings on the border of the site wont collapse. I think after this the main foundation will start, although i am not sure because i didnt see earlier pics.

grts

At what point do they pore a concrete base as the bottom of the buildings basement? Won't we have to see that before we see anything rise?

The bottom still seems to be dirt and rock. Do they have to drill down much futrher?

Hmmm strange, It's definitely way different than it's been for me. It has 3 cameras to choose from, the old one , one from pretty much directly the other side on 57th Street and a third one that isn't currently working for me. It also has a bunch of black and white pictures of the site at various points from the past couple months, most of them from down in the pit.

I wonder if the people living around that construction site know what tall neighbor they're gonna get soon.

The first time I saw the new web, I clicked in the link posted above http://www.432park.com/, and I use Chrome if that helps.
PD: This is the address of the second camera in that web: http://www.432parkavenue.com/construction/#video2, but clicking in this link it takes me to the main web and the first webcam.
PPD: In Explorer I see the new web also.
