Yes, modernism, I agree. Or maybe now neo-moderism?

I'd prefer to sort it into Boringism.

The label 'brutalism' comes from the French word "brut" which means "raw, crude or rough", and refers to this method of concrete construction.

This facade is neither crude or rough concrete. It is treated in some way or other.
Won't the perimeter columns be the facade? Brutalism also means that functional elements, which play a vital role in the structural integrity of the building, are the facade

I don't know. However, I always thought Brutalist referred to buildings with rough uncut concrete facades.

This tower has nothing to do with brutalist. And if it is then half of the boxy towers in NY are brutalist too.

Yes, i agree. There are not that many true brutalist towers around. The Barbican center in London comes to mind as one example. I'm not a fan because the concrete has a tendency to change color over time. I do like buildings like the UOB building in Singapore, which has a similar repeating window minimalist style as this one but is a classic IMO and is far superior.

Correct. Brutalism is more of a aggressive style, for lack of a better term.

Brutalist example is one of the buildings at my university:

I know, not a strong example but I did an architecture project on it

I might be wrong and functionalism is a better term for 432 Park, but that university building looks a lot like 432 Park

'Wrong'? Do you mean in the sense that those are made up terms or are you actually saying his opinion that this tower is boring is 'wrong'?

I found my old small CTR monitor and connected it to this webcam. Now it's like a little window out to the construction site.
