Finally the day came. I'm dying to see it on the street level, and from there it will skyrocket.

It may very well start within the next six months. Given Extell's huge success with One57, I anticipate that Extell will line up financing quite easily. Why on Earth would Extell wait when the market is red hot?

Lastly, Extell doesn't need to release renderings. The project is as of right.

I hope that Torre Verre starts within the next six months too.

630 am and a handful of carpenters are hanging out, the word is that everything will obviously be going at full speed once the crane gets erected this weekend. First pour for walls and columns should be next week Wednesday

Take a look at the cam...there has alot been quite a bit of progress today. The next 3-4 weeks this site is going to look totally different I am amazed at how quickly things are progressing.

On September 20, 2012, the Link-Belt rough-terrain crane appeared on the site of 432 Park Avenue. Since then, numerous supplies had been unloaded in preparation for the next phase of construction to begin, after the foundation had been completed. On September 24, the inner face forms of the core was erected. On September 25, the beginning of the sub-basement floor began to be formed. First, metal shores were placed, girders placed atop the shores, then stringers laid perpendicular to the girders, then the plywood for the floor deck placed.

Two rebar bending stations were set up along the 56St. wall, with two rebar bending tables and rebar supports. Rebar in quantity has been arriving, and being unloaded. The Link-Belt crane is being kept busy.

The frenetic pace of activity commences, as an army of workers scurry about, quickly forming the sub-basement floor. Openings left in the floor are there, presumably for access for basement mechanical items. Column openings will be made through the plywood sheathing, and column forms and column reinforcing will be placed later.

Can someone please post the links to those construction cams? I think I missed them somehow. I'd like to put them into the first post of this thread

They are progressing really well and they are so organised. Here is confirmation of the road closure http://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/mot...wkndtraf.shtml

More and more rebar is being unloaded this morning.

There indeed is a lot of activity on the construction site right now. Lots of rebar being unloaded, mobile crane working. It already looks very different from yesterday.
