Maybe it's just me liking everything boxy and simplistic, but this is actually my favorite tower being build at the moment, and there's a lot of fine towers being build.
Especially great fit to that layered, boxy, awesome NYC skyline. Love it.

Will be visiting NYC once again next year and got a take a closer look at it then.

Sorry i have to disagree with you there. The old buildings that were there before should never been demolished for this plain boxy tower. Like One57, this is tall and slender which i like but the design of this tower is too simple. Definitely doesn't deserve the title of being the tallest tower in Midtown. ESB is still the king IMO.

If this tower were too simple and boring nobody would be talking about it

People want higher ceilings for private residences, especially multi-million dollar luxury residences.

Residential vs. commercial space plus the embarassment of less than 100 floors on a building in memoriam of two 110 floor towers.

It's a model of 425 Park. This whole exhibit is about 425 Park.

That entire display in the back is about 425 Park. The tall model looks like The taller version of 425 Park that could be built with upzoning. It's the same shape but lacks the fins.

Thanks.
If that is the same scale as 432Park, it will be huge.

Lots of activity this morning, external columns being poured, steel fixers laying rebar to the central core and also to retail area? I wonder where the core forms are? They should be arriving soon? no?

At this moment, no pouring, but new rebar on the floor at the bottom of the screen:

A lot of work going on on the core this afternoon, pouring lower level and rebar getting tied in on upper level...doesn't look like much from 56 street but switch to 57st camera and workers can be seen all over the core
