That is the sidewalk shed being erected for pedestrian protection during the building construction.

You bet and looks like another section is about to be added.

I really hope they zoom back out a bit on the 56th street cam, would be nice to see the area to the left as well as more of the core.

Seems like a relatively simple method to jump the crane, just lift it up and pop it in

I thought perhaps the cam was originally down for relocation as the building rises.
quality is much better now.

Yes it is working. ANd yes, they zoomed out the Park Ave cam so you can see the crane. Poor resolution though.

They really need a cam ON the crane!!!!

One thing's for sure: this will be 400m of shiny glass.

The facade probably will be like 280 Park's but with each square being significantly bigger; thus 432 Park will be much glassier.

This could potentially be the fastest construction of a tower that I'll ever witness

There are a reasonable amount of workers on site working on a Saturday. I don't think it is a full crew but at least they are catching up on some stuff.

It would be nice to have some close up renders to see what the cladding is made of.

Is there a reason why nobody has "personal" photos of this project, other than the webcam's? Just asking maybe because it's still under street level, and security is too tight to get some Up Close pics?
