Kanto,

I could not agree with you more about the original 56St cam view. I have over 500 screen shots saved of the construction when we had the original view. I have done exactly as you have done, creating a daily time lapse, with dates (and time) in which progress can be readily observed.

The current 56St view does not compare to that original view. I also miss the original overall view. Why it was changed, we don't know.

You can also stop by Chefs Cafe and go to the 2nd floor eating room to get a bit of a view. I guess that is still quite some time away. Those lower levels are perfect for storage.
