Awesome!!!

Still not sure how this thing works but I can only assume it will speed up construction, which is already quite fast as it is.

I think 46 feet is an overestimate. I believe they are only the equivalent of two floors above grade. Not a huge difference but...

RW, did you go by the site?

But aren't these the tall lobby floors? At least according to the original SSP diagram they should be taller, but then again, the original SSP diagram is outdated listing the building as only 420 meters, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were wrong. We desperately need some plans like what we've got with 1WTC or 157. Until then all of this will be just guessing.

The lobby floor is effectively two stories high, however it still has a perimetral beam with the same height as the rest of the floors, that's what they are making the formwork for now.

Every floor is 15,5 feet tall, so you can see this building is currently that height, which is the height of the core right now. If you want to count the incomplete formwork being installed, it will be about 31 feet tall, the height of the lobby (but I don't think that could be considered rthe current height of the building, since the core climbing system isn't even complete yet, anyway the height should be the poured concrete)

In the section from SSP you can clearly see the double height lobby but with the intermediate beam at a standard height of 15,5 feet.

So excited to see this grow. Unfortunate we will never be able to visit the top upon completion, unless of course we win the Lottery.

I've always found the use of commas as decimals to be odd. Is it the European way of using decimals?

Edit: Now I know why, lol.

I updated my diagram with the info from the official floor diagram. The building should now be 10 meters or 31 feet tall.

Roof height used below

I know that's the way they do it in the Spanish language. They also use decimals for commas. Instead of $10,000 it would show $10.000.

I was the first person to describe this tower in detail well before the design was first published in the WSJ. I was disappointed, as I expected something like the north tower at the HY. Nevertheless, this tower will be stunning. The mere fact that it will be very glassy and very, very tall will make it iconic. The naysayers will come to love it.

440 Park is its actual address. The tower was supposed to tbe taller than the current height
of 1, 398 feet. There was speculation, based upon the name 432 Park, that it would be 432m tall. (The developers and architect are not originally from the US and obviously use metric.)
