And up she went again, to install tower section number three. Each tower section is 13.2 feet tall (4.00 meters-per Favco-Favelle M760D Series II PDF, Type 763 tower sections). Tower section number four hangs from the hook.

With tower section number four in place on the trolley beam, tower section number five hangs on the hook for balance, waiting for the crane to rise again to place number four.

Concrete pump on site :-)

Monday is a holiday. I would suspect they are going to work full out today and Saturday to pump in the next level of concrete so it can cure over the holiday. Maybe they'll even work a bit on Sunday?

Very interesting floor shapes on the 56th street side. There appear to be big gaps in the floor that they are currently laying out - ie there will be spaces that are two or more stories tall, like an atrium.

It has to be the world's thinnest skyscraper (in terms of length to width ratio)

Looks like the core is getting pumped in but I don't see any concrete trucks at the moments. As the building grows the cams no longer give good views of street level :-(

Update: Concrete trucks are there and the white sheets to keep curing concrete are being spread. Looks like they will do a lot of pouring today and tomorrow and let it cure during the holiday weekend. Expect the core to get jacked up on Tuesday.

And the 56th street crane will be jumped in the next day or so I think.

Jumpting 26th street crane right now in front of Web cam. Possibly best view of crane jump ever!!

Update:Actually, they are moving the piece around but not sure to where or what they are doing

Update 2: now the 57th street crane has it. Bizarre. Somebody is getting jumped - but who?

I wish they would keep one of the cameras at street level. I do appreciate them moving them up so we can see the tower grow, but i fear we are missing all the fun work going on at ground level! (plus its great to see what trucks r coming and going)

It is for sale, it is not big, but it isn`t that small either. Without the core, the floor area is about 700 sq. meters.

It looks so slender because it's so tall!

First...welcome

Second...itīs slender...but itīs really tall...and when you sell the last floor condo for ~$100M I think youīre ok when it comes to pay for this tower.
