So what happens now? Is it now on hold? When will work continue?

It's not on hold. The problem will be resolved fairly quickly (maybe it already is) and work will continue as planned.

and here it is.

I guess the cocoon is damaged or not in place.

debris netting is required at 6fl or 75ft, whatever comes first.

Where does it say it was resolved? I don't see that.

Apparently a section of netting or railing was damaged along the E57th Street side during hoisting of the parapet (that is what it says). I would think they would fix that quickly.

This is three days of lost work and counting.

Hmm, I was wondering how many floors will be covered with netting before they stop putting it up before every jump. Thanks.

Someone neglected to erect netting, so a $1 billion+ project has gone idle for 2 and a half days (including a possible Saturday half day)?

See ya!

Thanks for pointing that out. Didn't see that originally.

But I'm not sure that means the problem causing the shutdown is fixed. After all they did no work today.

Also, there are no entries on other lines indicating that the issue was fixed nor that they did a new inspection.

I think that "resolved" might refer to the DOB seeing a problem and it was "resolved" by issuing a stop work order. From the DOB's point of view it is resolved - there is no work, so there is no ongoing problem.

Not sure about that, but it seems ambigious to me. We should know at 7 am tomorrow morning if anything is indeed "resolved"

While that's too bad to hear, I'd imagine it'd be a relatively quick fix. Hopefully they can get back to construction soon.

Stop work orders aren't totally uncommon, but slightly surprising on a job of this size. It shouldn't last too long (I hope), those cranes cost a fortune.

ok, either they haven't fixed the underlying problem, and the "resolved" simply referred to the situation being resolved via a stop work order, or this has provoked a full inspection of everything and they are waiting for that to be completed.

Sadly, I don't even see anyone on site inspecting or fixing anything.

This totally sucks. Though New Yorkers know they do need to be strict about this stuff - we've had cranes topple over and kill people because DOB wasn't doing their job properly.
