I was looking at the building this morning and as kind of a follow up to my comments a month or so ago. This building has an incredible street presence already with only a few lower floors exposed. One really gets the sense when trying to visualize the full height of this building from the street...that it will REALLY be a tower. It's presence will be more tower( really a square column) than building. It is interesting in that how this building is being built...ie cast concrete instead of structural steel with cladding...you have an immediate sense of the complete structure and mass of the building with only a few lower floors exposed. so other than installation of the the windows...what you see is what it will be...very different from some of the other buildings going up right now...even WT1 ten years on is still "connected" to the ground visually as a massed object.

That would make sense, this floor as well as the next seem like the most time consuming given the column change over. After that it will be much of the same over and over.

Fifth floor paneling is being installed. Didn't seem like there were any visible pours today.

It's already taller than it's black neighbor to the right, how long before it takes over the white building to the left, on john flint1985, 4th pic,,,,, any predictions, Early summer perhaps, or even earlier?

That concrete looks to be of very high quality. This tower is one of the most unique towers going up in the world at the moment. The World Trade Center and the Hudson Yards may have all of the media attention right now, but this is truly the most interesting building being constructed in the city from an engineering standpoint (and in my opinion from a design standpoint as well). It is very simple yet exceedingly elegant, and the unique dimensions are sure to evoke a sense of fascination in natives as well as tourists.

The contrast between these shorter buildings and the behemoth that is 432 Park will certainly be striking when we've topped out here. Truly a sight to behold.

I hate this building because it's too skinny for the height, otherwise i like this box for i'm a great box-fan, i like the location and i like the way it's getting along. But i wonder why the haters hate this building?

I don't know how old are you and I don't wanna be harsh or anything, but you sound like your mouth just keep spilling some random words. A friendly advice, take those 5 seconds and put together a decent sentence with punctuation so we can understand you. Thanks.

Because this tower will be made out of reinforced-concrete, it hasn't steel floors like 1 WTC

They use rebar cages, which is just as effective.
