So that was exactly two weeks from the last one.
Hopefully it will get down to one week once they get above 6

Didn't you saw the floor plans poster earlier here?

btw, the 56th crane really has to jump, it can barely reach over the core.

I have been following several towers on this site over the past few years. For some reason that I can't explain, this one has become my favorite. I love the simplicity of it, the location, and height/width ratio. It looks almost too slender to stand that tall, which simply adds to its appeal. Great job, NYC!!

this sums it up perfectly for me.
while I prefer other projects design-wise and, to be honest, wouldnīt want to live in the building (not that I have the money...), 432 park is just mesmerizing for the reasons stated above.
so thanks to all of you updating us frequently.

Some of you maybe remember when I was saying that it will have flat surface facade. This model seems to confirm that (glass will be on the same plate as the edge of the concrete). It still looks rather good but I would prefer more 3d facade with windows recessed in the facade as on the older renders. I guess the maintains will be a lot cheaper the way they are going to do this.

I like 432 PA. Its understated and perfect for a residence on Park Avenue just like many of the residences along the avenue in the Upper East Side. It is unique and just as long as it stays that way then it will have its place in the skyline.

If there will be more tall thin box skyscrapers then it will lose its uniqueness imo. Should i ever win lotto in the near future i would definitely buy a unit here simply for the views. There is not a bad side because all the views are breathtaking. Normally i would want a view facing central park but in this case the best view for me would be facing south so i can admire all the skyscrapers reaching up into the heavens.

I agree that on this tower maybe the windows inwards were better, but a flat side is great too. The Citygroup center is also one of my favourites. ( I always liked it's perfect sides.

No doubt there are great towers with flat surfaces and this one isn't bad either, but I feel that Vinoly envisioned this particular one with 3d facade (just look at other his works plus old renders of this tower). I have the strong feeling it would look so much better that way hence a small disappointment I felt. But as long as they won't get rid of the empty spacings between the sections it's still quite an intriguing building to me, because those spacings combined with the proportions are probably first thing that I like about it. Without the spacings the sick proportions this tower have really wouldn't work. And with them sections of the tower are "floating" over the Manhattan
