Rent? Will be very hard to find, but maybe with something between 10~15k you can try to snap a 1 BR there.

These will be condos -- not rentals. Anyway, 1 bedrooms in prime locations (to the extent you can even find them) go for a lot more than $6k.

Did not realize they were not for rent. Wow...being condos to buy in that location is crazy. I would speculate the cheapest units to be around 800-900k if not 1 million easily. Can't even fathom how much the penthouses at the top will be. 20-30 million?

^ I think you're still a bit off. IIRC the cheapest 1 bedroom condos start at $6-8 million and the penthouses will go as high as $95 million.

Fallen, on your first point, you are correct. Crazy that a one bedroom on a low floor will be around $6 million!

On your second point (signature), you are incorrect and misguided. But that is a conversation for another forum. Please people, leave politics and religion out of signatures and posts.

But that's exactly what you just did. Don't like his signature? Too bad and don't start a religious nutter debate over it.

Agreed. Just ignore the dumb non-sense people put in their signatures.

Good to see the light rain we are having today isn't slowing things down.

One thing that strikes me is they dont' seem to use much rebar on the floors. I would think they would need a lot given the large space with no supports for the floor.

Calling it "dumb non-sense" right after you say it "ignore it" makes you a bit of a hypocrite, but whatever, it's not worth fighting over.

On a much more on-topic note, the east side rebar appears to be already complete and they seem to be doing some more pouring of the other columns. They might jump the core after they finish pouring. I believe Floor 9 is another double-tier floor. Floor 10 and beyond should be single tier as we move into the residental sector of the building.

Core climbing right now!

The last one was 6 days ago, the same time as the other, so we have now two jumps at a rate of every 6 days each. With that, we are in a 5-day cycle, excluding sundays. If they keep at this rate, by saturday it may be another jump.

The "roof" begins to get out of the picture frame.

The job is done for today.

Great! We might see another core jump at the end of this week as well.

Gosh, I didn't even notice the jump. Thanks for pointing it out.

Should be a big pour of the floor tomorrow and lifting of outer column forms I think.

I've updated my diagram, the building is currently 66 meters or 217 feet tall

Roof height used below

Thanks for catching this. Always wanted to see the transition levels from the cam, and had been disappointed that the camera moved up before the cocoon did.

It's interesting that they used the architectural concrete for two of the small columns at the transition. There is a big difference between it and the normal concrete.
