Btw. that old guy next to Harry, with the stick and fancy car, personal driver, suit and tie and money, coming to see his building, it's pure gotham style. It's like scene from the Batman cartoon I remember we were watching as kids.
All he needs is a top hat and a monocle. Thanks for the pics BFG.. Harry looks like a mensch.

But the 56th cam is also turned up, I rather see that one viewing the base.

Currently angle is pretty useless.
I agree.. we need to see what's happening at the base and the retail section activity.

Actually they must jump the 56th street crane soon and the cam should have an excellent shot of it.

Just noticed that on the 56 st cam we can now see the top of the black building. So we will be able to monitor 432 as it overtakes it. :-)

True, though the 57 and Park cams offer much better views of ongoing construction. At least we can see crane operation well in it too

With a 14,000 p.s.i concrete coreand countless tons of steel rebar bracing, anything is possible.

The tower is slim, but not that slim as people may think. Take a look at the renderings, it will have a massive impact on the Midtown skyline.

The core has jumped. That is two jumps in one week.

New Core jump!

I thought it may be possible to happen today, but I didn't expect it so early, I expect it to happen at afternoon. They continue with the 5 day cycle, and today it is the first that they jump the core twice within a single week.

Btw, nice fact, with this core jump 432 Park Avenue has surpassed the height of the former Drake Hotel. ( which was 67.53m )

That building is 119.2 m. / 391 ft. tall
432 park ave is currently at 61.4 m. / 201 ft. tall
To reach that height it needs another 57.8 m. / 189ft. equal to about 12 floors.
At the current rate it will need another 12 x 6 days = 72 days or 10 weeks to catch it, so it could be by mid july.

edit.
The height figure of 450 park ave (the black building) is according to this page
http://www.skyscrapercenter.com/new-...0-park-avenue/

After CCs77 saying that this building is currently 61.4m tall I'm really confused as to what the actual height is now

It is an easy calculus, each floor is exactly 15,5 feet tall, you can count 11 apparent floors on the facade plus two more for the core, total 13 floors (apparent floors, the ones you count by counting windows, not the real ones, since there are many double-height floors) done at the moment: 13 x 15.5 = 201,5 ft = 61,4 meters. (I am not counting the climbing system because it is just raised, and there is nothing there yet, not even rebar, but if you prefer to count it, then the building would be 14 stories tall or 217 ft. 7 / 66,1 meters)
