Yes, the last two days have been, apparently, slow, not much work seen. Although today some more work have been seen, at least they placed some new rebar cages on the eastern facade. Yesterday I didn't see any progress at all.

They haven't poured the core yet, or at least I haven't seen it. They should do it today in order to jump the core tomorrow and keep with the 5 day cycle.

no.. It's just weather related. I just checked DOB and no indication of one. Tomorrow will be nice and things should be ramped up big time.

It also looks quite odd compared to your Mumbai diagrams since there the towers aren't so close surrounded but here I miss the neighbouring towers.

After what seemed like a few days of relative inactivity due to weather, work resumes.
Yesterday, the material hoist grew a little. Workers contrauct what looks to me like a loading dock in front of the material hoist platform. In addition, yesterday, oak timbers were placed along side to the east of the hoist platforms.
Today the timbers were decked over, and a ramp constructed. The second concrete pump that had been placed to the east of the material hoist presumably will be the new concrete recieving point, replacing the previous delivery point that was located adjacent to the crane tower. That pump is presently covered with a tarp. In front of the previous concrete delivery point, an excavator was opening up a cavity there (evidenced by the red barricade seen at the bootom left of the cam view.
Today also, the 57 Street crane is being jumped, and the 57 St exterior form has risen to full-height. Form decking begins to be placed for floor level number 9, with formwork for the pool.

With the core pour taking place from the new concrete delivery area, a bottleneck seems apparent. The new area is quite tight, and getting the trucks in side-by side is difficult. It seems that the decking over the timbering (visible at the left) may need to be extended to allow easier access in as well as exiting the pump. (Wouldn't want the rear tandems of a loaded concrete truck to drop off the side of the ramp!!)

Nice rendering! One thing of note is that the corner columns are are not square at all...only in their profile view...they are actually much deeper and rather complex in section..very massive...this is hard to see in photographs or the cams but is very clear in person.

they are beginning to install moldings along the bottom edges of the window openings 56 street on the third level this morning...so maybe glass soon
