That whole elevator contraption is getting big.

I didn't realize the elevators to the side of it were what would work with it.

Hard to believe such seemingly thin steel structures as the elevator beams can go up 1,380 feet. I'd be nervous riding it.

Yes, it's hard to imagine that thing going all the way up. Why don't they install a temporary elevator in the core?

In europe they keep the facades....apparently in vancouver too. It would've created a great sense of mixing old with new architecture. Now the least they can do is finish the project...

If it is possible, which I don't see why it wouldn't be, they probably will in the future considering it's on the corner of Park Avenue and 56th Street.

The 57th street and Park Avenue cams could use a 10-story jump to be honest. Unless there is some specific computer port or open air balcony that each cam must be hooked up to, I don't see why the 57th street cam couldn't follow progress until it reaches about 600 feet as the Four Seasons eclipses that height easily.
