I thought it was going to be considerably less wide, but from those pictures it doesn't seem that slim.

Indeed, so imagine looking down.

Figures, damn it, the side where the cam is too low to see.

It's not visible now because the cams are positioned wrong again.
But I saw it yesterday, maybe it's some kind of shelter between the street and the lift/tower. They also attached the 57th crane higher to the building.

Just realised they moved the cam again!!! They were laying loads of timbers on the slab infront of the new lift platform. There were 3 layers of timbers.

Looks like they poured the perimeter today. Should we not see the frame jump again soon?

Tim if you're any good at drawing lines on these pics, could you point out exactly where the pookl is? If you can see it yourself.

You can see on this side view of the first 10 floors where the pool is on the ninth floor. It's represented as a recessed dip in the deck of the 9th floor on the 56th street side. It can' be seen well on the cams, but if you look on the 57th street cam, you can see the end of this "recession" where the pool will be.

EDIT: By the way I gave this image a google and this is a bit dated. The 9th floor deck is underway and the very top of the core jumping-system is equivalent to the ceiling of floor 9 or the deck of floor 10.

If i just have one complaint with this building, it's the location of the health club and pool. I don't know why they elected to have the Healthclub and Pool located on the 9th floor. This should have been placed way at the top just below the mech floors and instead of a regular pool they should have put an infinity one right by those HUGE windows so residents can soak in the views while they work out. I would be in the greatest of shape because of it and pretty wrinkly because i probably would never leave the pool. LOL.

Google Earth Model

I'm aware a few have already created models of this Building but here's my version.

Here's the models 3D Warehouse page

The highest floors aren't even accessible for most residents. Such things are always on the lowest floors.

Excellent render. This building screams 'New York'.

They should cover up the blank wall on the Franklin National Bank Building in some way. Either a mural or one of those cool grass walls.
